Being an Example

Is being a Role Model important?

What you do does matter.  What you say does effect others.  What you share can make an impact that you don’t even realize.  There is something really tearing away at our foundation of who we are.  You see it on TV, in the Movies and in Public.

I call it disrespect! Disrespect for others, yourself and God. It’s the I don’t care attitude.

Something to Think About:

Both Christians and NON-Christians quickly feel they have the right to judge, yet they forget about themselves. Being judgmental without looking at your own faults is just plain rude. Ever say something and wish it not come out, or maybe you just don’t care if they heard you or not.

How you live your life is your choice.  But something I like to remind myself is this:

“As a Christian I have to remember the bottom line.  I do not stand before God to explain why so and so did this or that. No, I stand before God to explain my own actions.”

People need to realize that others might not see them doing something, but you know inside. God knows too. My parents would tell me if it feels wrong, then it probably is. we often forget who we are or what is important in our lives.  It is a common struggle throughout all mankind.  But we should never lose site of how we treat others and the role model we play in everyday life.

Don’t be like the world ready to judge, instead look at yourself and realize that it take one person to do good and it can pass on to someone else.

Focus on your self-control, giving heart and a right attitude. “It only takes one bad apple to spoil the bushel”, But I say “Save one bad apple with kindness and you save the bushel”. Find the positive in Gods plan for you.  Be an example and not one who tears down others with your actions and words.
